How to Withdraw XRP from Binance to Your Wallet

Follow this beginner-friendly guide to move your XRP off Binance and into a self-custody wallet like Xaman.
You’ll need:
- XRP in a Binance account
- Your XRPL wallet address - for example, in Xaman, tap Receive → Copy Address
How to Send XRP from Binance to the XRP Ledger
Step 1: Open the Binance app, go to your portfolio view, and tap your XRP balance
Step 2: On the XRP asset screen, tap Send
Step 3: If you're sending to a self-custody wallet like Xaman or another exchange like Coinbase, tap On-Chain Withdraw.

Step 4: Enter the transfer details:
- Paste your XRPL address
- Select XRP Ledger as the network
- Input the amount of XRP to send
- Decide whether you need to add a Tag (Memo)
You’ll also see a field for a Tag (also called a memo). This is optional depending on where you’re sending the XRP. If you’re sending to a self-custody wallet like Xaman, you can leave the tag field blank.
If you’re sending to a centralized exchange like Coinbase, you must include the correct tag or your funds may not arrive. If you’re ever unsure, double-check with the receiving wallet or exchange first. More: https://support.binance.us/en/articles/9842853-memos-on-binance-us

Step 5: Review the withdrawal quote and tap Confirm to send.
Complete any verification steps (like 2FA), and your withdrawal will be processed shortly.

Step 6: Once the transfer is complete, your XRP will appear in your wallet! You can find the transaction receipt in Binance’s Spot History section.

✅ You’re done!
You’ve successfully moved your XRP from Binance to your self-custody wallet. Welcome to the XRPL.
